1. What are the necklaces made of?
Resin beads assembled by hand on steel wire, with a lobster clasp and a gold-tone stainless steel extension chain. The creatures are lampwork glass; the Beach series uses acrylic. The exact material is stated on each piece.
2. What is lampwork glass?
A technique worked in a flame rather than a kiln: the glass rod is heated until it softens, then shaped with pliers, one piece at a time. Tiny bubbles and shifts in colour are not defects, they are the marks of the hand. No two pieces are ever strictly identical.
3. How long are the necklaces?
One size, 42 cm, plus a 5 cm extension chain to adjust to your neck. It sits on the collarbone and works on its own or layered.
4. Can I wear several at once?
That is the idea. The lengths layer without crowding each other, and a discount applies automatically in the bag from the second piece onwards, with no code to enter.
5. How much is delivery?
Delivery in mainland France is 4,50 €, free from 45,00 €. In the European Union it is 12,00 €, free from 2 items. We do not ship outside the European Union for now.
6. How long will my order take?
Orders leave within 2 to 3 working days, with tracking. Since every piece is assembled by hand, this can take longer in busy periods; you are told by email if that happens. A tracking number is sent when the parcel leaves.
7. Can I change my mind after ordering?
Yes, you have fourteen days from delivery to withdraw, with no reason required. The piece must come back unworn and in its packaging. Return postage is at your expense, unless it is faulty or does not match the order. The details are in the terms of sale.
8. What if the necklace arrives damaged?
Lampwork glass does not like knocks. Write to us within 48 hours with a photograph: the piece is replaced or refunded, return postage included.
9. How do I care for my necklace?
Avoid prolonged contact with water, perfume and cosmetics: they dull the colours and the shine of the beads. Take it off before swimming and before sleeping, store it flat, and clean it with a soft dry cloth.
10. How can I pay?
By card, and depending on your device by Apple Pay or Google Pay. Payment is handled by Stripe: your card details never pass through our servers.
11. Do I need an account?
No. Ordering works without an account: you leave an email address to receive your confirmation and tracking number, nothing more.
12. A piece is sold out, will it come back?
Runs are deliberately short. A sold out piece does not necessarily come back, and never identically: the variations of lampwork glass mean no two are quite alike.
